When I first entered the drone industry in Guyana, I quickly realised there was a gap. Not because we lacked talent, but because too many young people simply didn’t know these opportunities existed.

I made it my mission to change that.

That’s what Drone Girls | Drone Kids is all about; not just teaching children how to fly drones, but showing them that technology can open doors they may have never imagined.

Over the past four days, we’ve watched confidence grow, curiosity come alive, and future pilots, surveyors, engineers, programmers, entrepreneurs and innovators discover what’s possible.

To the Class of 2026: never stop looking up. The drone is only the beginning. Keep asking questions, keep building, keep creating, and never let anyone convince you that your dreams are too big. The world belongs to those who dare to imagine it differently.

Thank you to the parents for trusting us with our young innovators’ journey. We hope this camp has ignited something that lasts far beyond these four days.

Today, we’re putting the finishing touches on our Drone Kids | Drone Girls Summer Camp 2026 certificates as we prepare to celebrate an incredible group of young innovators tomorrow.

We couldn’t be prouder of how far they’ve come in just a few days, from learning the fundamentals of drones and surveying to taking control of the skies, exploring underwater drone technology, and discovering future careers in STEM.

Tomorrow, we celebrate more than completion. We celebrate the beginning of what’s possible.
