Inspired by artists such as James Brown, Kool & the Gang and Earth Wind and Fire, the B Bug has been the funkiest phenomenon in Greece since 1990. They have performed their original music as well as funk/soul's best-loved covers in Greece's most popular clubs and festivals, averaging about 100 live shows a year. h as Arturo Sandoval, Louisiana Red & Despina Vandi as well as many celebrated Greek musicians such as George Kontrafouris, Takis Paterelis and others. They have also performed with Kia Koleman, Julie Massino, Guitar Shorty and Cookie McGee. Other credits include playing support for Mick Taylor & the All-Star Blues Band and New York's funkster Milo Z. The B Bug have also been featured on various collection CD's, they have contributed 4 cover songs to the soundtrack of award winning Greek film "Telos Epochis" (Best Film 1994-Salonika Festival- CD released by Virgin), have performed several times on Greek television and once for the French Channel MCM. Since 2012, because of the Greek financial crises, the nucleus of the band has moved its base to Berlin. This exciting, new lineup includes accredited musicians from all over the world, featuring Vernon D Hill from Detroit, Michigan on keyboards and vocals and Daniel El congo from Cuba on Trumpet. The original nucleus out of Athens, including lead vocalist Fotis "Potis" Tsirigotis, Teo Theodoris on electric guitar & vocals and Leonidas Kotsis on drums is thrilled about this union of funky-funksters & can't wait to groove Berlin's b***y into an atomic tailspin! Sie performen ihre ursprüngliche Musik genau wie funk /soul Lieblings Coversongs in Griechenlands angesagtesten Clubs und auf europäischen Jazz-Festivals. Seit 2012 hat der Kern der Band ihre Basis nach Berlin verlegt.
