New Dimension in Tourism Sector Training

On 2–3 December 2025, our partners gathered in Riga, Latvia, for the second transnational meeting of our Erasmus+ project RURAL-CONNECT: Bridging Opportunities for Rural NEETs through Counseling (Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA220-ADU-000245111). This meeting marked the end of the project’s most intensive first-year phase and officially launched our transition toward developing the digital counseling platform.

During the meeting, we successfully completed WP2, finalising the content for the Comprehensive Career Guide and the Career Counselor Toolkit, designed to support NEETs living in rural areas. We also kick-started WP3, reviewing the draft version of our Online Counseling Platform and beginning the process of turning all materials into interactive learning modules.

What’s next?
In the upcoming months, we will work on making the platform multilingual and finalising our 2026 activity plan. Key milestones include the M15 online meeting in February 2026, the T3 Training Activity in Greece in June 2026, and the T5 Pilot Testing of the Platform throughout the summer of 2026.
