Dear Readers, A bit about how we came up with the idea on why we are taking part this year on “Move The B**b” movement. As a MUA (Makeup Artist) I genuinely enjoy talking to the all the women who have their makeup done, it’s a fun way to meet new friends. During the beginning month of August, I had a lady booked in for a makeover. As we were talking she opened up and half way through the makeup session she started crying. She then explained how her mother had been detected with stage 3 breast cancer. I got in contact with as many MUA as I could and what positive outcome, even a hairstylist jumped on board! From the get go we all became one and shared so many ideas that we will be doing along this month of October. We are all so grateful to the Breast Cancer Support - this fantastic organisation is dedicated to raise awareness and provide support for individuals affected by breast cancer, a cause that resonates with so many in our community. During our meeting we opened our hearts to one another and all shared experiences where a family member has suffered from breast cancer. Some survive and others don’t. We tend to take life for granted and life is valuable. SO we want to use our talent and power for good.We reach out to you, our Gibraltarian community, friends and family to help us with donations and help us make this fundraising as impactful as possible.
