During its humble nascent stages, Fresh organised private events and then moved on to larger, public electronic music fixtures, producing events which hosted internationally renowned artists within their field, such as Taito Tikaro, Rob Tissera, Stereo Palma and Tom Boxer to name a batch. Its founders, Leigh Debono and Jonathan Collado then took Fresh underground, producing s string of events whic
h saw the likes of Finnebassen, Pirupa and Dusky at the helm. In the Summer of 2013, Fresh Events was awarded the Government tender for the Summer Nights 2013 project: an incentive consisting of five consecutive weeks of entertainment: from live shows of myriad musical genres to live magician performances. However, it was recently, with the Gibraltar Electronic Music Festival 2013 that Fresh Events established itself as the most prominent promoter in Gibraltar and arguably one of the most applauded promoters in the Southern Iberian Peninsula. The GEMF 2013, a 12-hour daytime gig headlined by Ms Rebeka Brown was the first of its kind and promises to be an annual bash of sorts. Raking in over 1,000-strong party-goers, the GEMF was the biggest and hottest electronic music event to have taken place at home.
