Praye Honeho’s Wife Beverly Afaglo Reportedly Passes Away Days Before Her Birthday

Ghanaian hiplife and Afropop musician Eugene Baah, popularly known as “Choirmaster” and a former member of the defunct music group Praye, has shared heartbreaking news about the reported death of his beloved wife, Beverly Afaglo.

In an emotional social media post, the musician expressed deep pain and sorrow, revealing that his wife passed away just four days before her birthday.

Choirmaster, whose real name is Eugene Baah, described Beverly as his strength, happiness, and the reason his life felt complete. According to him, every moment they shared together was a blessing he would cherish forever.

The grieving musician emotionally wrote that he could still hear her voice encouraging him as she always did, calling her his “number one fan.” He also promised to continue everything they both planned and started together.

Part of his emotional tribute read:

“My heart is shattered beyond words over the death of my beloved wife Beverly Afaglo. It would have been just like four more days to your birthday, but I guess the Lord wanted to celebrate with you, so He called you home.”

The heartbreaking announcement has left many fans and followers devastated, with social media flooded with messages of condolences and prayers for the musician and his family.

Choirmaster ended the tribute with an emotional farewell, describing the moment as “a dark day” for everyone who loved her.

A young man in his mid-20s has died in Babile in the Upper West Region after allegedly swallowing ten tablets of tramadol in a competition among friends.

The deceased, identified as Kukura, a native of Tugo in the Jirapa Municipality, reportedly took the high dose in an attempt to outdo a friend who had allegedly swallowed six tablets.

According to reports, he became weak immediately after ingesting the tablets and was rushed to the Babile Polyclinic for treatment before being referred to the Upper West Regional Hospital in Wa and later transferred to the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

Despite efforts by health personnel, he was pronounced dead.
