Positive Action Initiative Ghana is inviting committed professionals to join our Advisory Board as we strengthen our leadership structure and deepen our impact in empowering sexual and gender minorities living with disabilities.
We are seeking individuals with experience or strong interest in human rights and social justice, disability inclusion, and sexual and gender minority advocacy. Advisory Board Members will provide strategic guidance, enhance our visibility, and support key areas such as advocacy, health, policy, communication, and fundraising.

On International Youth Day, we stand with Q***r youth living with disabilities, whose voices are vital to achieving the SDGs. Too often, they face barriers in education, healthcare, and civic life, but despite these setbacks, their leadership continue to drive real changes. At PAI GHANA, we work to create safe, inclusive spaces where q***r young people living with disabilities can thrive and lead. Inclusion isn’t charity—it’s a necessity!. 🌍💪🏽

Opportunity alert for emerging leaders ages 25–45
The Youth for Peace: UNESCO Leadership Programme supports emerging leaders (ages 25–45) in using intercultural dialogue to address global challenges.
The 2025 theme — “Learning to Collaborate for a Shared Future” — focuses on fostering social cohesion in a world on the move.
Selected participants will receive online training, a USD 10,000 grant to implement a community project, mentorship and peer learning, a seat at the Global Youth Dialogue for Peace in Guangzhou, China (April 2026), as well as continued engagement through UNESCO’s Global Alumni Network.

Creating a culture of disability inclusion, particularly for q***r persons living with disabilities, requires a multifaceted approach that addresses various barriers and promotes inclusive practices. 1. Education and Awareness: Promote understanding and awareness about disability and the diverse experiences of individuals with disabilities. This includes educating people about the intersection of disability and other aspects of identity, such as sexual orientation and gender identity.
