Good morning family,

A globally accepted determinant for driving a sustainable business in our future of work towards becoming and remaining relevant is to build and have an effective Team.

Depending on where you are or how you see things, words such as Synergy, Partnership, Collaboration etc. comes to mind once we talk about teams.

It is to this end that I was intrigued by the invitation given me by the board and management of Pearson Christian School located at Adjei Kojo in Ashaiman.

Team, do not be deceived by looks or hearsay - sometimes seeing is believing. My visit to the school prior to honoring the invitation was one of shock. I was amazed at the compound, the ambience, the professionalism of the teachers, the joy of the pupils and most importantly the availability of world class Montessori teaching and learning materials.

The theme for the occasion was ‘How to navigate the current economic situation – the case of the school, parents and other stakeholders'

In the wake of the current economic issues, the workshop was designed to bring parents and guardians to speed on the activities of the school for the calendar year and also to expose them to how their continuous partnership/support is critical in achieving a wholistic success for all.

The Proprietress Mrs. Yayra Sakyi in giving her address, appreciated the contributions of the parents and guardians. She also updated the house on activities of the school and its future prospects.
We were honored to have Mrs. Marian Ettim John the headmistress of Golden Sunbeam School (Ayikuma -Accra) who is an experienced educationist and a Montessori expert.

We were exposed to the four (4) C’s of Montessori learning;
1. Critical thinking
2. Collaboration
3. Communication and
4. Creativity

I had the rare the opportunity to engage with all gathered and shared my experiences on sustainable partnership for organizational growth.

My engagement covered effective team building, emotional intelligence and stress management.

Fantastic opportunity to partner MicroWatch and Ghacum Ashanti Chapter to train on Expectional Service Experience and Effect of Rebranding on Customer Experience.

The Internal Auditor for North Tema Co-operative Credit Union, Mr. Paa Kwesi Rockson took part in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Service training organized by Micro Watch for Management and Staff of the Union. He admitted that the training has been insightfully educative and expressed optimism that the Union will enhance its operations through such trainings.
