Ghana's energy sector is indeed challenged. Acknowledging this truth is important in our collective resolve to finding solution to the unending energy crisis. We need to appreciate the sector gaps and challenge those in charge to work hard and take us out of the woods.
Our energy ⚡sector must get better!

Protecting the Future of Ghana 🇬🇭
Child trafficking is a reality that often hides in plain sight, disguised as opportunities or "help" from those we trust. It is time to peel back the layers and stay vigilant.

3 Common Ways Trafficking Starts:

1️⃣ Fake Job Promises: Scammers lure children with the promise of city jobs and better lives.
2️⃣ Family Trust Exploitation: "Helpers" or distant relatives may take children with false intentions.
3️⃣ Poverty & Desperation: Struggling families may unknowingly give their children into dangerous hands.
We must be the voice for those who cannot speak. Be alert. Ask questions. Protect every child. If you see something, say something.

As an organization, CFF-Ghana remains committed to the pillars of democracy, the rule of law, and constructive contributions to shaping the discourse. I wish to assure the larger Ghanaian public that we shall not renege on our mandate of giving voice to the voiceless in our society.

In the wake of Ghana's tomato trade ban by Burkina Faso authorities, a move expected to significantly impact Ghana's tomato supply, I shared my thoughts on same and called for deliberate policy implementation to ensuring domestic production enhancement in line with government's food security agenda.

PRESS STATEMENT

For Immediate Release:

CFF-Ghana condemns brutal killing of Raphael Ganyo of Kalakpa Resource Reserve and calls for justice for the deceased.

Ho, Ghana; Saturday, 10th January, 2026:

1. Community Focus Foundation Ghana (CFF-Ghana) had noted with deep pain and shock the fatal killing of one Raphael Ganyo, a Resource Guard at Kalakpa Resource Reserve on Tuesday, 6th January, 2026.

2. We condemn in the strongest terms ever this wicked and inhumane act against a public servant who was performing his legitimate duty in protection of our environment. This heinous killing has once again reminds us of the poor conditions under which resource guards operate in protecting our natural fauna. In our candid view, there is urgent need for government intervention to salvage the situation.

4. By this release, we call on the Ghana Police Service and other stakeholders including the Volta Regional Minister, Forestry Commission and National Security to do all they can to swiftly arrest perpetrator(s) of this wicked act to face the full rigors of the law.

5. Also, we call on the government through its relevant agencies particularly the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to as a matter of urgency strengthen security at all forest reserves more especially at a time the fight against illegal mining is being intensified to prevent reoccurence of such brutalities at our reserves.

6. End
