Yesterday after work I walked towards the Chrisberry road leading to Spintex branch of Ecobank. I saw people gathered at the taxi rank opposite the night club and out of curiosity I wanted to know what was going on.

Apparently a young lady had taken an overdose of whatever she took and she was choking and foaming. There were no paramedics around and non of us had knowledge on how to help her out. The only option was to take her to Dampong hospital.

This was the shocking part. The taxis had closed and the few cars around were also engaged. Now her other friend who worked on the street with them, seeing how all hope was lost came closer and laid hands on her and started praying. She was laughed at. "Ashawo ni ɔbɔ mpaeɛ" (a pr******te praying). Her prayer was precise and short.

They were surprised to see her gain consciousness and she started coughing out the residue. The same people who laughed at her prayer started clapping for her. 😅😅😅

Per the marking scheme of humans she was called "that pr******te". Per God's account, "I speak through donkeys".

Many at times our guilt makes us feel our prayers would never reach God. Faith is an essential element in prayer regardless of who ever is applying it in praying. No matter your status, I'm here to tell you nothing is too hard for God when faith becomes a lifestyle in prayer. 💓💓💓
