The 2025 Global Disability Summit was well represented by the Country Director of Inclusion Ghana & Chairperson of Inclusion Africa, Mr. Auberon Jeleel Odoom.

He was a speaker for a Panel Session on: Shrinking Aid & Disability Inclusion.

The panel members shared highlights on:

How to ensure that there is sustained funding for disability inclusive development, including to realize the thematic commitments of Global Disability Summit.

How to hold duty bearers to account to ensure that progress achieved on implementing the CRPD is not lost due to insufficient aid.

What does meaningful participation of OPDs in international development funding decision making processes look like and how can this be effectively implemented at all levels from global to local.

What kind of innovative funding mechanisms can OPDs pursue to expand their access to resources.

We look forward to impact driven funding activities that will help to continue the Disability-Inclusion Work in Ghana, Africa and the world at large.

Our team is very proud of Mr. Auberon Jeleel Odoom for his commitment to disability work in Africa.
