29 year old Maryland man Jalen Godard had his vehicle stolen while he was allegedly burglarizing a Verizon store.

According to police, officers were responding to a burglary at a Verizon store last Thursday when, minutes later, they received another call about a stolen vehicle across the street.

Things started to add up after officers noticed blood on the store’s window, along with blood on Godard’s hands. Soon after, he was arrested.

In bodycam footage, Godard is heard repeatedly denying that he was ever at the Verizon store. However, surveillance footage allegedly shows otherwise. An officer can also be heard telling him, “That’s some karma right there dude.”

Godard has since been charged with burglary, theft, and destruction of property. 🤦‍♂️🎥: Howard County Police Dept.
