There is a moment in Samson’s life that should shake every believer.
“He awoke from his sleep and thought, ‘I will go out as before and shake myself free.’ But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him.” (Judges 16:20)
It didn’t happen overnight.
It wasn’t one mistake.
It wasn’t one bad decision.
It was a pattern.
Compromise.
Disobedience.
Dishonor.
Playing with what God told him to guard.
And eventually… what was once on him… lifted.
This is the danger many don’t talk about.
You can still have the look…
You can still have the language…
You can still go through the motions…
And not realize the anointing has lifted.
Not because God is cruel,
but because we slowly walked out of alignment.
Disloyalty will cost you more than you think.
Disobedience will take you further than you planned.
The scariest place to be is thinking you still have it…
when it has already departed.
But here’s the mercy of God:
You can come back.
Repentance restores what pride destroys.
Alignment reopens what compromise closed.
Don’t play with the presence.
Guard what God has given you.
Because the anointing is not automatic…
it is sustained by obedience.

Not everything God gives you
is guaranteed to remain
Some things are given
and then tested
through how you handle them
Stewardship is not automatic
It is intentional
What is neglected
does not stay strong
It fades
Slowly
quietly
over time
You do not lose things all at once
You lose them
in small moments
when you stop paying attention
when you stop being disciplined
when you stop valuing what you were given
God does not just give
He watches
Not to take from you
but to see what you are willing
to protect
develop
and grow
Because what you do not steward
you will eventually lose
This is not about pressure
It is about responsibility
What you protect
and develop
is what will remain
How will you respond to the correction of the Lord?

You do not need more input
You need more time with God
We have filled our lives with noise
and then wonder why we lack clarity
God is not trying to compete
He is not trying to speak louder
He is waiting for you to quiet down
Clarity is not found in speed
It is found in stillness
The voice of God becomes clear
when your life slows down
and your attention shifts
Distance creates confusion
Closeness produces clarity
The more time you spend with Him
the more familiar His voice becomes
The secret place is not optional
It is where your hearing is formed
Return to it
