How confident are you in your current impact gloves?
When it comes to impact protection, there are currently two different recognised standards. The EN388 standard tests a single impact zone per glove, resulting in simply a Pass or Fail, while the ANSI/ISEA 138 standard tests at 9 different impact zones, including the knuckles and fingers and measures performance across 3 different levels.
The significant differences in these test methods could result in seeing one or more of these standards referenced, dependant on where in the world you buy impact gloves.
