I post a lot about hiring an audio or video guestbook for weddings because that's what they mostly are used for.

Father's Day is approaching this month and it can be a time of mixed feelings for a lot of people, myself included.
Many of us will have lost our dad's and Fathers Day can bring up those feelings of loss and grief but also the memories of a loved one and father's day celebrations gone by.

I said recently in a chat with The Human Collective that it meant the world to me that my dad had volunteered to be the first gunine pig for my life story recordings. Now that he's passed it means the world to me in a whole new way, that I have his voice, his laugh, his personallity, his music taste and his stories recorded for me to listen back to and remember him by.

This is what I hope to give others when I record their parent's or grandparents stories, it's something so special and personal and will be something I cherish forever.

It gives them a chance to tell their stories, unbridled and a chance to feel listened to for a while, and it gives you the story of a loved one you can listen to long after they are gone.
