Copythorne Pre-school

Copythorne wants to wish parents ,carers , children and the community a Happy Easter . The children have had fun exploring the Easter tuff tray , tasting raisin bread , making chocolate Easter nests . We reopen on April 13th. Thank you for your continued support. The Copythorne Pre-school Team .

We would like to wish our families a lovely half term and hope you have a lovely week. We reopen on Monday 23rd February.

The children have been very busy over the last two weeks with lots of sensory play and tasting pancakes . Having the opportunity to use and hold a hand chopper to chop frozen raspberries for their pancake topping .

These activities are great for physical skills, listening and attention and early maths and literacy skills, also promoting understanding the world .

Copythorne Pre-school has limited spaces for 2,3,4 year olds from September 2026.

Copythorne Pre-school is under new management ,since September 2025 ,and can offer a warm, caring nurturing environment with a high staff to child ratio.

We are situated in Copythorne Parish Hall and have access to the beautiful grounds and newly revamped nature play area all year round . please contact [email protected] to arrange a visit between Wednesday - Friday .

Outlook

The children have returned and settled quickly after the Christmas break. We would like to welcome our new families who have joined us this term.

The children enjoyed the snow last week , and we set up a winter themed area for them to enjoy . This sparked lots of interest in Arctic and Antarctica animals . The children have been exploring this provocation tray with different textures and animals .
