After six glorious years, Esh and Loo have decided to turn off the icicle lights at Parranda.
Parranda has always been a labour of love, and it ends with so many joyful memories - of new friends made, of the passionate atmosphere, and of the sea of smiles on the dance floor.
Although future projects beckon to Esh and Loo, rest assured that they haven't left dance behind. Expect to see Esh behind the decks as 'DJ Muzu' and leading 'ruedas de casino' at an event near you. As for Loo, he'll resume his journey as ethnomusicologist and dance researcher for Conseil International de la Danse.
All that remains is for us to express our profound thanks to all the performers, DJs, Parrandastrellas, Parranderos, and those who believed in what we sought to achieve.
It has been our honour and delight to have shared the love of dance with you.

Great night, great vibes, great ambience with great people. Many thanks all joining us at Parranda. Lots of dancing to great music played by two fabulous DJs/musicians, Armando and Loo. Thank you very much both of you!! Thanks to Aura for the impromptu cumbia line up and of course, Armando's 'swing' merengue!! Just awesome!! We had so much fun with Rueda De Casino too ❤💥 lovely to see da fabulous Helena Gardner (hugs hugs hugs). As always, many thanks to Donna for looking after Parranderos and helping us on the door 😍💥
