Such a good weekend. Friday at the @royal_marines_pra practice day. Steels from 55yds out to 900, with a variety of barricades and props. Very well run, very relaxed, great to see some old face again and meet some new ones. Saturday - The Mile Great day shooting at #bunky’s #eastcornwallshooting manage to get the 1moa target at 1 mile, and just about as close to the 1/2moa as you can without hitting it. Very happy, and all in 30rnds. 3rnd zero at 100yds First shot hit on the 1moa at 800yds second shot to confirm, then 3rnd hit the 1/2moa at 800. Shot a few more at 800 just for fun. 3 shots at 1250yds 2nd end hit on the 1moa. 3 shots at 1500yds, 3rd rnd hit on the 1moa The Mile - 1760yds. With winds gusting from 8-14mph at the firing point, it was blowing the 7-08 about a bit, but managed an 8th rnd hit on the 1moa target. The rest went at the 1/2moa but just couldn’t quite connect with the gusty winds. Some very very near misses. Can’t recommend Bunkys highly enough. Very well run, very professional, great facility, Kev was a great host. Also couldn’t ask to shoot with a better group of people. I will be back for that 1/2moa patch sometime soon.
