Another good run for Boleybawn Willow today (Sam 🤎)finishing 4th.
For the most part he’s such an old soul who has done it all before in another lifetime, but then he also keeps me on my toes with the odd green if in doubt go high moment!
Can’t fault his enthusiasm and absolutely love that is having a bronk and a play in the warm up as he has worked out already that XC is the fun bit 🤩🥰

After a sharp reminder at the weekend that progress is never linear with horses, today was a much needed good day.
Penny jumped her absolute socks off training and watching my videos back I thought how brilliant she looks. She’s come a long way since that mad Pau auction moment and I had a real moment of pride of what she’s turning into. Rest assured it was shortly followed by more critical video analysis of myself 🤪
So a more positive reminder to focus on process over outcome and to enjoy the good days as they come 🙏🥰
