Springwater Foodbank

Do you have a couple of hours a month to volunteer for the Foodbank?
Specifically we need someone who can drive and deliver donations a couple of Wednesdays daytime per month.

Next week, Mar 9-14th, is Food Waste Action Week. This doesn't only make sense for your wallet and your time, but also the planet. Lets make sure we use what food we buy. Don't let it go off in the cupboard/fridge.
Top tips - before you shop...
- check the cupboards so you don't over buy
- menu plan, so you know you'll use whatever you buy
- only buy what you'll use - no bulk offers (which often only save a few pence anyway)
- make a list on the side of the freezer so you know what's in there
- use up leftovers and any random food in a meal before going to buy fresh
