Walking through the workshop this week, it really struck me just how diverse the cars are that we have the privilege of looking after.

A beautiful Mercedes Pagoda, a British Racing Green MG Roadster, a burnt orange Volvo 850 T5R, a Subaru Impreza, alongside many other wonderful classics and modern classics, all under one roof here at Classic Car Lab, Otley Mills.

Every car has its own story.

Some are here for a routine annual service. Others need specialist mechanical repairs, welding and fabrication, electrical diagnostics, bodywork or paint. Some are undergoing full restorations that will see them enjoyed for generations to come.

Due to our continued growth and an expanding workload, we’re looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join the team at Classic Car Lab – Heritage to Modern.

Whether you’re looking for part-time, subcontract, or full-time work, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for someone with experience in:
✔ MIG welding
✔ TIG welding
✔ Fabrication and restoration work
✔ Working on classic and modern vehicles
✔ Mechanical knowledge would be a real bonus

You’ll be joining a friendly, skilled team working in our clean, modern workshop at Otley Mills, carrying out everything from structural repairs and bespoke fabrication to full restorations on some truly special vehicles.

We’re looking for someone who:

🔹 Can work to a high standard with attention to detail
