The Engineer's Rest

Drive in Keyworth his surname being Ball this was called “The Ball Room”. Every other Thursday Mark now came to Tim’s and they became “The Chimnea Knights”. Steevi was invited to a Chimnea night and immediately saw the benefit of a garden hovel, built one and called it “The Engineers Rest” and became the Lilac Knight. The hovels are all decorated by the owners in a style of their choice but it usually ends up as Beer related trinkets and Brass Tat from a car boot. Wi-fi is available and as a general rule brings your own beer. It needs to be said that all four pubs in the village are crap. Various events have been held in the hovels. To mark the kings birthday, Elvis Chim. To mark the passing of Tim’s Dad, Ted Fest. We also have Summer Chim. Firework Chim and in honour of “The Mighty Thunder” Thunder Chim. As well as St Andrews, St Georges and St Patrick’s Day Chims

The New Bus Stop was built as the old one burnt down after St Georges Chim 2010. Tuggy built his Pavilion in 2010 and Chas Fest and The chim before Christmas have found there way onto the social calendar.
