As a bodyshop owner, you have a million things to do every day, but posting to your social media pages doesn’t have to be one of them. We take social media off your “to-do” list, so you can focus on what you do best – repair vehicles.

It’s great to be working with the team at H. Macartney Body Repairs in East Kilbride.

As a long established, family run accident repair centre, we were first tasked with updating and modernising their branding to include their initials, whilst still respecting the heritage and reputation they’ve built over the years.

We went through our full design process exploring different logo concepts, fonts and styles, before arriving at the final identity below.

The end result is a cleaner, more professional brand that reflects the quality of the business and gives them a strong platform moving forward.

What Do Customers Think Social Media Managers Do?

What they think:
📸 “Just upload photos.”
If only it were that simple 😂

What actually happens behind the scenes:
✔️ Strategy
✔️ Ad campaigns
✔️ Lead funnels
✔️ Editing
✔️ Copywriting
✔️ Analytics
✔️ Community management
✔️ Trend research

For bodyshops, social media isn’t just about posting cars online. It’s about, building trust, staying visible locally, and generating enquiries.

The best performing bodyshop pages aren’t successful by accident. There’s a lot more happening behind the scenes than most people realise. 👀

When bodyshops ask us “Which social media platform should we focus on?” … the answer depends on your goal 👇

🔵 Facebook
Still the best all-round platform for attracting local customers. Great for recommendations, reviews, local customer acquisition, and community visibility.

People use Facebook locally to ask: “Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop near me?”

💼 LinkedIn
Ideal for building industry relationships with insurers, manufacturers, fleets and other repairers. Best used for business credibility, certifications, achievements and recruitment.

📸 Instagram
Perfect for brand building and showcasing high-quality repair work. Strong visuals are everything here - great for prestige repairs, state of the art facilities and workshop culture.

🎥 TikTok
Growing quickly for bodyshops. Not necessarily for direct leads, but excellent for awareness, personality and behind-the-scenes content. Repair transformations and quick process videos perform especially well.

One thing is clear in 2026: short-form video is becoming important on every platform - not just TikTok.

The bodyshops seeing the best results are the ones consistently showing their work, their people and their expertise.
