🏐 Netball 🏐
This was SO MUCH FUN! I haven't played netball since my injury when playing for Loughborough AU and it felt so good to be back 🙌 Not the best recovery for my knee injury but as it was a beginner/ back-to-netball vibe I though it would be okay 😇
Can't wait for another session on Monday! Netball Newbies

💪 Whey Too Much To Carry 💪
Overwhelmed at how generous this prize was during the PT Induction Course for !
I had such a great 2 days meeting other PTs from around the UK and learning so much that can be applied to helping our clients succeed 🤩 …Plus I was fortunate enough to win the title of “Most Supportive Learner” from the other members in the group which was a Brucie bonus 🤯

I set myself a challenge in aid of Diabetes UK where I had to run 100km during the month of March (also the month I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes).

Yesterday I achieved (and exceeded) this target by completing 105km at the lovely Draycote Water! My earphones had no charge so I ran the whole thing without anything to distract me other than the views 😍

I am pretty proud that I even managed to hit 100km during these 31 days as many of you know that I am not built to be a long distance runner 😂 but I ended up enjoying it and knew it was all for a good cause.

There’s been MANY blisters, shin splints, tight calves and painful Achilles, but luckily no wall was hit and I persevered to continue the challenge.

During the first 2 weeks, I didn’t give myself enough rest days as I wanted to get as much done as possible, but towards middle/ end I allowed that time to recover along with consistent following Nike Training Club stretches

Super happy with this start to the “100km run in March” challenge for Diabetes UK - easing my way in slowly rather than pushing too hard and feeling like I can’t run the next day!
For those who know me, know that I’m not a fan of continuous running although I’m a PT, I’m a high intensity then rest kind of gal 😂 so this is a big challenge for me!
Keep an eye on my stories for updates or head to the link and follow along the journey there!
Any support to this great cause would be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small the contribution - thank you 💙
