My 2000-issued CWC alongside its grandparents today!

I walked past Maunder Watch Co - London and noticed they had a pair of Rolex MilSubs - both 5513s, rather than 5517 or the double reference. The one on the left is full-spec, with sword hands and a fully-graduated bezel insert.

CWC Mellor-72. Named so as Ray Mellors newly founded company was founded in 1972 and the first contract was the W10 mechanical hand wound watch supplied throughout the 70’s to all branches of the forces, shown here on the forstner Klip bracelet which klips on and off in seconds and reminiscent of the early bonklip type bracelets of that era.
