Scenes from Graduate Fashion Week, where the next generation of designers took centre stage this summer.

Returning to the last month, the event brought together emerging talent from across the UK to showcase collections, creative perspectives and the ideas shaping the future of fashion.

A physical showcase does more than display work. It creates a moment for designers to connect with industry, build visibility and bring their creative vision to life in front of a live audience.

Boston Manor’s Sundiver pop-up at Hackney Gallery is the perfect reminder of what makes music culture so powerful: community.

Created to celebrate the album’s release, the space gave fans the opportunity to meet the band, get merchandise signed and spend time with others connected by a shared love of the music. More than a retail experience, it became a place for conversations, discovery and connection.

Featuring FoundPop’s signature furniture, including hanging rails, shelving and display cases, the activation provided a flexible backdrop for merchandise and storytelling while keeping the focus on the fan experience.

For artists, labels and music brands, pop-ups offer a unique opportunity to bring an audience together in a way that digital channels alone can’t. They create space for deeper engagement, strengthen relationships with existing fans and introduce new audiences to a project through shared experiences and word of mouth.

As audiences continue to seek meaningful, in-person moments, the artists creating opportunities to gather around a release are often the ones building the strongest communities around their work.

Music has always brought people together. But today, artists and labels are finding new ways to build momentum around a release.

We believe the most effective activations give fans a role to play, not just something to observe. Here’s a few of our favourites to inspire your next event:

✔️ Boston Manor — An album launch pop-up where fans could meet the band, collect signed merchandise and celebrate the release together.

✔️ Night Dreamer — A multi-day exhibition exploring the stories, influences and creative process behind a new record, culminating in a live showcase.

✔️ Eminem x Complex — A Soho takeover combining exclusive merchandise, rare vinyl, immersive storytelling and a surprise appearance from the artist.

✔️ Julia Wolf x AWAL — A secret East London merch drop announced just days before opening, rewarding loyal fans with an intimate community-led experience.

Each activation approached fandom differently, but all recognised the same opportunity: giving people more ways to engage with the music beyond simply pressing play.

For artists, labels and managers planning a summer release, these experiences offer something valuable: a chance to create deeper connections, reward communities and give a release a life that extends beyond launch day.

FILL x FOUNDPOP

Now open in Borough Yards for a limited time, ’s top-up pop-up is a clear statement of intent. Less packaging, more participation.

Customers, better known as the Fill Seekers, are invited to bring, refill, and repeat, with the process placed firmly at the centre.

Industrial taps, reusable pumps, and refill stations aren’t hidden, they become the experience itself, turning everyday essentials into something tactile, considered, and shared.

Fill has long operated this way behind the scenes, collecting, cleaning, and refilling for a growing network of hotels, restaurants, studios, and conscious brands. This pop-up brings that process into the open, placing behaviour at the centre of design.

And the alignment with is a natural one. A shared belief that physical space should do more than display products. It should shape better systems. From modular, reusable event furniture to low-impact builds, the focus is on creating environments that reduce waste while increasing interaction.

SINGLE USE IS OVER
