🚀 Another one for the books! 🚀

Revolution Engineering was back in action this weekend supporting Paradine Competition at the Silverstone 500 — and what a race it was! 🏁
With Darren Leung and Dan Harper behind the wheel and our elite trackside engineering in their corner, we fought all the way to an incredible P1 finish — winning by just 0.6 seconds in a nail-biting showdown! 🏆🔥

Precision under pressure. Performance when it counts. Passion from start to finish.

That’s what Revolution Engineering is all about.

Massive congratulations to the whole Paradine Competition team and to Darren and Dan for an epic drive!
Onwards and upwards — we’re just getting started. 👊

🔧 Latest Project Spotlight! 🚀

At Revolution Engineering, we’ve just completed an exciting project for one of our Formula E customers – the manufacture of a bespoke harness for their Driver-in-the-Loop simulator. 🎮🏎️

This harness was carefully designed with performance and adaptability in mind. It’s sleeved with Roundit for optimal protection and flexibility, while also utilising our custom 3D-printed boots. These boots provide a more cost-effective alternative to standard heat shrink boots, offering the added benefit of easy access for modifications. This is crucial for rig and bench harnesses, where updates and adjustments are often necessary.

This project is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative, tailored solutions for the motorsport industry, helping our customers stay ahead in their performance and operations.

A huge well done to the team for another job well done! 👏

We’re excited to share some recent work from the Revolution Engineering workshop: a custom bench wiring harness created for one of our Formula E customers! ⚡️

For this project, we optimized the design specifically for bench use, incorporating materials and features that balance functionality with cost-effectiveness:

Nylon Braided Sleeving: While DR25 is often the go-to for durability, bench harnesses don't require the same level of environmental resistance. Nylon sleeving provides a high-quality yet economical alternative.

Custom 3D-Printed Boots: We’ve designed and printed custom boots to allow easy modifications to the harness down the line. Bench and test harnesses often evolve as testing progresses, and these boots ensure flexibility and convenience for the customer.

Our commitment to innovation extends to our tools too! We’ve recently expanded our 3D printing capabilities, adding the Bambu Lab X1C to our equipment lineup. Its blazing-fast print speeds and reliable performance have already proven invaluable for projects like this. We can’t recommend it highly enough for those looking to elevate their 3D printing game. 🚀

We’re proud to bring precision, adaptability, and efficiency to every project. Stay tuned for more updates from the Revolution Engineering team, and feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more about our harness solutions!

Some more Formula E harnesses this week.
This is just one of many that are being put through their paces at the pre-season test in Madrid as we speak.

🚀 Revolution Engineering to the Rescue! 🚀

Recently, we were approached by a broadcasting company heavily involved in motorsport, responsible for providing and installing onboard camera systems in vehicles. They faced a unique problem: frequent damage to their equipment due to reverse polarity connections when integrating cameras with vehicle systems.

We listened to their challenge and got to work. The solution? A cost-effective device that not only indicates whether the harness is connected with the correct polarity but also protects the camera system if accidentally connected incorrectly.

At Revolution Engineering, we thrive on finding practical, reliable solutions for our clients' technical challenges. Whether it’s enhancing performance, ensuring safety, or protecting valuable equipment, our goal is to make operations smoother, safer, and smarter.

🚨 Two hectic weeks of Formula E madness at Revolution Engineering! 🏎️⚡️

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Revolution Engineering, cranking out multiple umbilical harnesses for our Formula E customers.
(At this point, we’ve handled so many umbilical harnesses that we’re starting to feel like professional cord-cutters! 🔌✂️😂)

One of these requests came in late on a Friday, with delivery set for the following Monday. Just over a week to source materials, build, and ship—talk about an "umbilical" tight deadline! ⏳ But hey, who needs a weekend, right? 💪

Our team powered through the weekend to make it happen because we always go the extra mile (or lap) to meet our customers’ needs, no matter the timeline!
