🏆 Congratulations to Vitessa Vault on becoming the first purpose-built security vault in the UK to achieve a Secured by Design (SBD) Gold Award.
Located in North London, the independent facility has been recognised for embedding crime prevention into every stage of its design, following invaluable advice from Metropolitan Police Service Designing out Crime Officers and the expertise of SBD member company Warrior Doors .
This achievement highlights the importance of considering security from the outset, demonstrating how good design, expert advice and accredited security products can work together to create safer, more resilient environments.

Mobile apps are increasingly being exploited in Violence Against Women and Girls ( ), enabling , harassment, coercive control and tech-enabled abuse.
That’s why Secured by Design has introduced police-endorsed mobile app accreditation as part of the Secure Connected Device scheme – because when sensitive data is exposed, so is a woman’s safety!
Developed in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the National Police Chiefs' Council, the scheme aims to help tackle the growing cyber risks facing app users - particularly where vulnerable people may be at risk.
