Actinolix looking for hands-on Python developer and technical lead to help build out its global data science environment for sales & trading, a rapidly-growing and high-priority area.
You will work closely with sales, trading and strats on multiple trading desks to design, develop, deploy and support an innovative data science environment based on Python.

Code, script and automate using Python, as well as modify existing code as needed.
Work on data retrieval, processing, validation and modeling.
Scraping of data from various formats (html, pdf, API, etc.) and data sources/inputs using Python
Assist with the full software development life cycle (requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance).
Ability to communicate, obtain requirements, find solutions and implement them in a clean and concise way.

Skilled required:
Expert understanding of Python Core concepts, including both functional and class-based design, and new language features up to Python 3.5.
- Knowledge of libraris Pandas, Json, Multiprocessing, Beautifulsoup, and NumPy libraries, websockets
- knowledge in a UNIX/Linux environment; minimum 2 years
- Experience developing & designing complex, data-driven systems in Python
ideally with a Web / HTML5 component - Flask / Numpy / pandas / Plotly / Jupyter
- Experience general data science stack experience
- Track record working in front-office environment with trading and quantitative strategists
- Experience in equities / options / futures / ETF / structured products highly desirable
- Experience in fixed income products and data / FX / rates / bonds / CDS / CDX desirable
- Full stack HTML5 Web development experience highly desirable
