Here are our five quick tips to keep your public social media accounts looking professional:

𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀
Many of us have posted a photo, status or comment that we later regret. If this is the case, delete it before it sends the wrong impression.

For your profile photo, use a good-quality picture of you looking professional. Best avoid anything taken at a social event!

Every platform has space for a short bio, so don't leave it blank. Add a snapshot of your strengths, achievements and personality.

Most social media platforms allow you to edit the handle () and URL (platform.com/name), so ensure yours is customized and professional.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮
Whether healthcare or hospitality, take things a step further by sharing industry news and insights related to the field you want to work in. This shows hiring managers your interest and initiative.

With a little tweaking, you can tighten your social media game and instantly make yourself more attractive to hiring managers.

💡 Our new research has shown a clear disconnect between the positivity people feel about AI and how confident they are actually using it in their day-to-day roles.

Across a survey of 2,000 UK employees, 64% say they feel positive about AI. Yet only 25% say they fully understand how to use it effectively in their role.

This matters, because willingness on its own doesn’t lead to action.

If someone isn’t confident, they hesitate and may use AI in limited ways, second-guess their outputs, or avoid it altogether.
