New workflow simplifies bispecific antibody and biosimilar characterization 08/06/2026

Bio-Techne and Refeyn have announced the launch of an integrated analytical workflow designed to address a persistent challenge in the development of bispecific antibodies and biosimilars. The new approach combines imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) fractionation with mass photometry, making it possible to analyze both charge and size variations in complex biologic molecules within approximately 4 hours.

The technology aims to provide deeper insights into the therapeutic candidates while reducing the time and sample volumes required for testing.
