C4WS Homeless Project is a small organisation that assists homeless people all year round, helping them to rebuild their lives. Opening it’s doors for the first time in January 2005, a group of 7 churches took it in turns to provide free shelter and food for 13 of the coldest weeks of the year. We recently had our service of thanks to mark the end of our shelter season. Thank you so much to all of the brilliant volunteers who have worked tirelessly for the last five months to make the shelter possible⭐ !!
Thank you also to the lovely Iraj Valizadeh and his team who volunteered to make this delicious feast for our community lunch after the service. Still thinking about that Baba ghanoush 💭...
Our winter night shelter is now closed but our work doesn't stop here; watch the space for more info and updates on our work and plans for the summer!
Little insight into our art workshop the other day attended by our shelter guests and guests from our Wednesday Club drop in for roughsleepers in the local area. It was a lovely peaceful afternoon spent chatting and making paper mosaics. Thank you for having us!
