⚠When children are struggling, there are a lot of signs at home

🔍Once you identify what your child is struggling with at school, you can help them by following these tips:

👩‍🏫 Have a meeting with teachers: Teachers share many hours with your child at school, meet with them, explain your concerns and discuss ways to help them at home and at school. A student struggling with English could write about family activities.

📝Homework support: If you find you don't have enough time, you can find affordable support online that can help your child. Try your best to check what they are doing, and ask questions about the work. Asking have you done your HW won’t allow you to get the whole picture.

🧩Plan activities outside: Taking breaks outside with different and fun activities can be very useful in stressful situations, and it will strengthen the relationship and build trust.
Lastly remember it’s ok to be vulnerable with your children, if you aren’t great in maths, that’s ok, show them resilience and go through online support alongside them.
