No matter what, without healthy sleep, a person is less productive. If you've had a period of insomnia, or you've been staying up late because of work or study, here are some tips to help normalize your sleep pattern:

1. Do not overeat at night. If you eat heavy or fatty food right before going to bed, your body will activate to digest the food and will not be in the mood for sleep at all. Try to eat a light meal 3 hours before departure — this will preserve both your sleep pattern and your figure.

2. Physical activity. Any: cleaning the house, going for a run or just for a walk, exercising — this will use up some of your energy and allow you to fall asleep faster.

3. Refrain from emotional stress. If you like to watch movies or series before going to sleep, then choose a comedy. Horror films, thrillers, detectives - you will be so captivated that you will not be able to sleep at all.

4. It is better to plan the next day a few hours before going to bed. Write everything down and solve the unresolved issues. Otherwise, you will lie like this until dawn, thinking about tasks, plans, etc.

7. Some people advise putting sprigs of dried lavender under the pillow. Its aroma contributes to better falling asleep and sound sleep.

8. During sleep, it is advisable to remove all sources of light: do not turn on the table lamp, close the curtains, if street lights are shining from the window, etc.

9. Don't put off the alarm clock. If you change the alarm several times "for a couple more minutes", you will sleep longer, but the meaning of such sleep will be small. You need to get used to getting up as soon as you wake up. Go wash yourself with cold water and drink tea or coffee.
