We believe the future of clinical research is admin-free.
This means using AI-native systems to reduce the administrative burden and creating more time for research teams to focus on participants, study delivery, and the science itself.
Clinical research has transformed outcomes across countless diseases, but bringing new treatments to patients is still a broken process:
โข ๐๐ป๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐น๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐๐: Nearly 80% of clinical trials do not meet their original recruitment targets on time.
โข ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป: Recruitment delays and protocol complexity, has increased significantly over the past two decades, with more endpoints, procedures, and data collection requirements.
โข ๐๐ผ๐๐: The cost of delays can be tens of thousands of dollars per day for sponsors while slowing the generation of new evidence.
โข ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐: Every delay can postpone access to potential new treatments and innovations for people who need them.
How quickly research can be delivered, how efficiently sites can run studies, and how rapidly new evidence reaches the public effects us all.
The good news, is that we now have R.grid technology to address these issues safely. To learn more visit rgrid.tech.

The World Health Organization estimates around 118 million blood donations are collected globally each year, yet shortages still remain a major challenge across healthcare systems worldwide.
Blood donations support much more than emergency care, it's also used across some clinical research as well. Whether for a study intervention, as a source of biological samples, or as part of transfusion and blood supply optimisation research.
An example of this is the UK INTERVAL trial, evaluating whether the frequency of whole blood donation could be safely increased or decreased. The studyโs findings help to improve the well-being of blood donors and enhance blood supplies.
This ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐, Dr. Sam Spears from Research Grid rolled up his sleeve to donate blood and help support patients and researchers.
โMedical advances depend on people who are willing to contribute, whether by joining a study or donating blood. Both play an important role in helping healthcare move forward.โ โ Dr. Sam Spears
Donated blood is often used to support trials for cancer, rare diseases, immunology, and transfusion medicine, generally to monitor treatment safety and effectiveness, study disease progression, and develop new diagnostics.
If youโre eligible, consider donating. A simple donation can contribute to both immediate patient care and the future of medicine.

More than 120 different types of brain and central nervous system tumors have been identified, and outcomes can vary significantly depending on the tumorโs type, grade, location, and genetic profile.
Brain tumors are also uniquely difficult to study and treat. Symptoms can overlap with other neurological conditions, tumors can behave very differently from patient to patient, and the blood-brain barrier can make it harder for treatments to effectively reach the tumor itself.
On ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ง๐๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฎ๐, weโre recognizing the patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and advocacy organizations continuing to push research forward.
Advances in molecular profiling, targeted therapies, precision medicine, and imaging technologies are improving how brain tumors are diagnosed and understood. At the same time, continued clinical research remains critical to developing safer, more effective treatment options and improving quality of life for patients.
At Research Grid, we support clinical research teams working to move studies forward more efficiently across complex disease areas.
