Signature Paisley in soft yellow/ peach 🍑

The Paisley shape is believed by some to be one of the very first printed patterns as it’s been said to resemble a clenched fist on its side. Most synonymous with Middle Eastern textiles, the droplet-like motif in Persian culture is thought to have been a representation of a floral spray combined with a cypress tree, a Zoroastrian symbol of life and eternity. The seed-like shape is also thought to represent fertility, has connections with Hinduism, and bears a striking resemblance to the ancient Chinese yin-yang symbol.

Our Paisley includes elements from our Tree of Life and Moirè prints, mixed in with hidden references and mysterious symbolism- worthy of a motif with such a rich heritage.
