LMA x Edinburgh Fringe 🎭

Next up in our daily preview of our Acting graduates' Edinburgh Fringe shows, we're shining a spotlight on LMA London's Fragments Theatre and their production, 'The Woman In The box'.

Set in a dystopian world not unlike our own, The Woman in The Box is F ragments Theatre’s first production, offering a thought-provoking and intense experience. The story follows a janitor working the night shift to monitor the woman trapped inside a box. Their encounter is abruptly interrupted when two thieves break in, searching for valuable artwork. As tensions rise, conflicting interests emerge—should they free the woman, and is it even right to do so? The play explores whether she is truly safer confined in the box within this harsh, misogynistic dystopia, raising powerful questions about freedom, safety, and morality.
