What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?

If you are married or in a cival partnership, you may have assumed that your spouse would automatically be able to deal with your bank, pensions and make decisions about your healthcare if you lose the ability to do so. This is NOT the case, they will not have authority. Having an LPA means that you will have control about what happens to you if you lose mental capacity. Regardless of health, everyone should consider having an LPA.

There is no need for a face to face meeting, this service can be given over the phone.

Please message us if you would like more information or advice and we will help you every step of the way.
