That Louis Nazario de Lima Ronaldo, simply known as Ronaldo Nazario is one of the greatest of all time in the world of football history.

Nazario was born in 1976 in Brazil and started his professional career at Cruizero before moving to PSV Eindhoven, Netherlands.

He later joined FC BARCELONA in a world record transfer fee in 1996 and later transferred to Inter Milan in 1997 in another world record transfer fee, making him the second soccer player to break two world transfer fee record twice after Diego Maradona, and won the 1997 FIFA Balon d'Or at the age of 21 years. He had scored over 200 goals at the age of 23.

Ronaldo later joined Real Madrid in 2002 and during his first season, he won the La Liga with the Spanish giants. He later joined AC Milan before retiring from his professional career at Corinthians in 2011.

During his entire football career, Ronaldo Nazario won FIFA world player of the year 3 times, WON 2 Balon d'Or, WON 2 FIFA world cups both in 1994 and 2002 consecutively. He made 384 club appearances and managed to score 280 goals, made 98 appearances for his national team and managed to score 62 goals, making him the third highest top scorer for his national team until today.

Ronaldo is regarded as one of the most marketable sportsmen in the world of football during his playing career and he's the owner of the series A side Cruzeiro and as well the owner and president of the Segunda division club Real Valladolid.

Nazario is now currently the United Nations Development Program's goodwill ambassador, a position he was appointed in the year 2000.
