🏉💙 When parents first bring their kids to rugby, they usually think they are just signing up for a sport.

But over time, it becomes so much more.

You get to watch your child grow in confidence, make lifelong friendships and become part of a team that supports each other on and off the pitch.

You also become part of a community yourself. Familiar faces on cold Sunday mornings become friendships. The touchline becomes somewhere you belong. And before long, the clubhouse starts to feel like home too.

At West Park Leeds RUFC, we pride ourselves on creating an environment where children and their families feel welcomed, supported and part of something special.

We have teams for school Years 1 to 12 and always welcome new players and families.

Come and see what makes this club so special.

🏉💙 Your daughter probably will not become a professional athlete. And that is not the point.

The real benefit of girls rugby is not measured in contracts or trophies. It is measured in confidence, resilience, leadership and friendships that last a lifetime.

Girls who stay in sport are far more likely to become leaders, and women who played sport growing up are significantly more likely to succeed in senior roles.

At West Park Leeds RUFC Girls, we see this journey every week. Players learning to back themselves, support each other and keep going when things get tough.

She may not go pro.
But she will become stronger, more confident and more resilient.

And that matters far more.

We have girls rugby teams for school Years 5 to 12 and always welcome new players, whether they are completely new to the game or already playing elsewhere.

Come and join us and see where the journey begins.

Please like and share to help grow girls rugby in Leeds.
