โš–๏ธ THE MENOPAUSE WEIGHT GAIN MYTH โš–๏ธ

"If I'm putting on weight, I must be eating too much or not exercising enough."

I feel like I am hearing this all the time from women around me...family, friends, clients, even those just chatting on the treadmill next to me mid workout.

But if you're gaining weight despite eating right and exercising regularly, you're not imagining it.

Menopause changes the game.

Our hormones are changing and the way our bodies work are too.

โœจ Oestrogen declines and affects how and where we store fat, often around the middle.

โœจ We naturally begin to lose muscle mass, so our metabolism becomes less efficient.

โœจ Poor sleep and increased stress can raise cortisol levels, leaving us feeling exhausted, craving sugary foods and making it harder to recover.

โœจ The "eat less and move more" advice that may have worked for years now do not address what's really going on inside these bodies of ours!
