Petromax will be cooking outside Logie Timber Supplies throughout the open day on 27 June alongside a local venison butcher Tom Chetwynd, with outdoor cooking equipment, cast iron cookware and open-fire cooking demonstrations happening across the day.

After all the uncertainty going into the kiln, this was the moment we finally got to see how the hardwood had handled the cycle.
Ollie talks through what we were most concerned about beforehand, what surprised us once the packs came out, and whether we’d run hardwood through the kiln again.
