A quick recap of my Claude Monet inspired adult class this week at .
I normally encourage my students to create their own pieces, but they were so very inspired by Monet’s masterpieces that they wanted to try and reproduce them (feat. a little Koi Carp matching obsession by ).

Today I had to take a day off since community centre is a polling station. My daughter decided that making paper squishies was definitely the best way to relax together!

Today I stepped out of my comfort zone with a new art project for my daughter's 6th birthday party!
Where fun meets learning! At Art Start Academy, our courses welcome children of all ages to explore, create, and thrive together, each progressing at their own unique pace.

Here is a selection of the art produced during our classes in Edinburgh and Musselburgh.
We listened to Chopin’s nocturne n.9 and painted the colours and shapes that came to us.

Hope this very long holidays are going well for all my little artists and their families, my kids and I made this wreath for our door to celebrate Easter, but I’ve got the feeling it will stay with us till summer comes and we have the excuse to make another ;)
