✨🌟Spotlight on …. Asa Kitching✨🌟

Asa is our care home manager at Marian House and has been with Viewpoint for 16 years. She has completed a post graduate qualification in advancing care home practice for older people with dementia, she’s well qualified to lead the team of specialist nursing and support staff at Marian House.

Asa said: “I love my role, the feeling I get when a new resident settles into the home is fantastic, they become part of the family, the community, and we do absolutely everything we can to support the transition.”

A Creative Lifeline 🎨

For over 9 years, Netta has been part of Craft Café at Viewpoint Care Home in , and what started as curiosity quickly became something she couldn’t wait to return to each week.

From trying new creative techniques to even selling some of her artwork, Craft Café has helped Netta build confidence, connect with others, and find joy in creativity.

“It’s so relaxed… there’s lots of laughter too so that can’t be bad!”

Craft Café offers residents a safe, welcoming space to express themselves, boost wellbeing, and enjoy meaningful social connection.
