On this day in 1958, Duncan Edwards, one of the Busby Babes and probably the greatest football player of all time, passed away. He survived the Munich Air Crash but died 15 days later in Munich's Rechts der Isar hospital. He was just 21 years old and had already played 177 matches for Manchester United.
Some of the last words that Duncan Edwards said while he was in hospital a few moments before he died: ''What time's the kick off against Wolves on Saturday? I can't miss that one''
