Cookery class today - Chutney Day! 🍎🧅

Folks will be making Caramelised Onion Chutney and Spiced Apple Chutney, and mastering the science of safe jar sterilisation. (You know me, love a good food science lesson).

Today I had these lovely carers join me for a bout of cookery. We went to Thailand that benefitted historically from the Ancient Silk Road. They made Pad Thai Salad with Peanut Sauce as well as Thai Style Fries Rice. We went through the various sauces from Fish Sauce that is prevalent in Thai Cuisine and how it's made; or Oyster Sauce and the secret to ensuring Rice Noodle doesn't keep "getting longer" forever. 👨‍🍳🇹🇭
