The Nuneaton BID Connect Radio roll out continues. It’s been fantastic to be out and about meeting local businesses providing on-site training and support - with a personal touch!

Utilising the Motorola Solutions platform, we are able to offer highly secure wide area communications allowing new users, some of whom were previously outside of the legacy radio system coverage, to now be instantly connected to the Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council CCTV control centre, Warwickshire Police Officers, Nuneaton BID Safety Team and multiple other key stakeholders, neighbouring businesses and licensed premises.

Our work isn’t finished yet as we continue to activate more users on the Connect Radio system on a daily basis.

New BID Connect Radio System Launches in Nuneaton to Enhance Safety and Communication - TOMORROW, Thursday 9th!

A new and improved BID Connect radio system is set to be introduced across Nuneaton from tomorrow, replacing the existing retail radio network and delivering a major upgrade in communication, safety, and operational efficiency for local businesses and partners.

The BID Connect system brings together businesses, the Police, licenced trade and CCTV operators on a single, secure communication platform. This unified approach ensures faster information sharing, improved coordination, and a stronger collective response to incidents across the town centre.

Above all, the introduction of BID Connect represents a significant step forward in safety for Nuneaton. By connecting businesses directly with the Police and CCTV control room, the system enables quicker reporting of incidents, faster responses, and a more proactive approach to crime prevention and public safety.
