So, I went out a few nights back in search of a barn owl to check off another bucket list shot. No Barn Owl showed, but I did catch this buzzard! Not a total loss 🙌🏻

A short walk around the local mountain this afternoon, well worth it!

I’ve been saving these for a little while. I’ve always struggled to catch kingfishers in flight, however, these two shots mark the day that I finally managed it!
The may not be technically brilliant, but I’m very proud of these!

I’ve admired the colours of the Goldfinch for a very long time, but never been quite fast enough to photograph one.
This opportunity presented itself yesterday and I couldn’t pass it up!

Last kingfisher post for a bit…promise!

Watching this kingfisher feed was such a cool experience! So fast and agile!
It really is a “blink and you’ve missed it” moment.

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of shooting Herons. Super majestic!

An early start and a good time spent with a kingfisher. Well worth it!
You just can’t beat those colours!
