Introducing our new front man Joe. His energy and vocals really shone through in his audition which made it a no brainer to add him to the Absolence family.

Auditions for our new singer have been awesome, but also tough. Whittling down 4 candidates to 2 wasn't easy but we are now very close.

The process is taking longer than we thought but for the right reasons, this isn't just a new member of the band. This is an opportunity to have a new sound and new way of writing and making music, so excited.

Keep you updated as we go, and hopefully be back to a stage as soon as we can 🤟

Last weekend we had our first two face to face auditions and the bar was set very high. There are two final auditions mid March and after that we can get down to making our decision.

In light of the quality of applicants, we need to re-think how we are going to separate them as right now it's too close but in totally different ways. Which is actually awesome because it's making us think about our potential to evolve and what the band needs to keep it fresh and fun.

We are working on a few new songs for when we get back on the scene, cannot wait to share them once we have a new front man to bring them to life.

🤟 There is an epic face melter with the working title of "Losers"
🤟 A post hardcore number, short and sweet but going to kick some ass in the pit
🤟 And a Killswitchy one for everyone to sing along too

One of these will be released later in the year with our new singer. When we have shows booked in we'll let you know so you can hear them in person.
