🌊 A DROWNING WORLD? 🌊

As part of our upcoming exhibition “Never Grow Up”, we are glad to present this painting by . At first glance, the scene seems almost playful, a child shooting hoops 🏀 from a boat, but a closer look reveals a more unsettling reality.

With a flooded San Francisco, this artwork delivers a striking commentary on climate change and the ecological crisis 🌍🔥 we face today. The rising waters, swallowing familiar landmarks, serve as a warning, while the child’s act of play becomes a symbol of innocence in the face of an uncertain future. Kurar masterfully blends urban surrealism with social critique, urging us to reflect on the world we are leaving for future generations.
